Work based vocational learning
Work based vocational learning offers young people the opportunity to support their classroom learning with practical learning in your workplace, which, in turn, helps them to achieve a recognised qualification.
This is playing an increasingly important part in the development of lifelong learning for everyone but in particular for young people in our schools.
It allows them a taste of what the world of work is really like beyond what they can learn from a work experience placement. It's delivered over a longer period of time with related benefits.
Work related learning and work based vocational learning are now a key part of the curriculum. You can support this important area by offering young people the opportunity to obtain a work based learning qualification supported by your business or organisation.
